Barangay pageants have evolved into impressive showcases of talent and local pride. This year, Barangay Malinta is raising the bar with higher standards in production, diverse contestants, and a more refined set of winners.
Yesterday, Sysprotech played a key role in the Barangay Malinta Event Pageant, a vibrant celebration of talent and community spirit held in Los Baños, Laguna. This annual event not only showcases the exceptional abilities of its participants but also fosters a deep sense of unity and camaraderie among the locals. Sysprotech were entrusted with the crucial task of tabulating the scores, ensuring the results were accurate and transparent—a responsibility we embraced with precision and dedication.
The evening was marked by the presence of distinguished guests, including Laguna Governor Ramil Fernandez, and the SK Chairman Edmund Lloyd Velasco of Malinta whose inspiring speech highlighted the importance of celebration and local pride. The event featured a panel of esteemed judges, including renowned designer Jamart Barit, Miss Universe Philippines San Pablo Laguna Eunice Deza, Binibining Laguna 2024 Rendelle Caraig, former Miss Malinta and now successful businesswoman Monique Cantalejo Rivera, and the respected Josh Daluman. Their expertise and prestige added a layer of significance to the pageant.
Under the masterful direction of Cris de Leon, the pageant unfolded seamlessly, with participants displaying remarkable talent and creativity. The anticipation reached its peak with the announcement of the winners: Judea Alcantara and Harley Febrer were crowned Mister and Miss Malinta 2024. Judea’s impressive performance earned her all of the major awards, while Harley’s placement to the top three, despite not securing individual awards, proven his undeniable charm and stage presence.
The first runners-up titles were awarded to the dynamic duo of Ceeyan Veluz and David Troy Torrecampo, while Enayma Joyce Gaguit and Jesus Oliveros III claimed the second runner-up spots. Each contestant brought their unique skill, highlighting the rich talent within Barangay Malinta.
